Dr Ross Hansford BVSc (Veterinary Surgeon)

Hi my name is Ross Hansford and I have been in private practice for over 50 years.

I sold my Practice at Merrylands back in January as I thought I was ready to retire. I missed working in the Practice so much that after one month off I couldn't cope not working with my patients. I decided to join the team at Auburn Veterinary Hospital.

My family pets are: Buck ( Johnson Bulldog), Matilda ( Pug), Benson ( Pug), Banjo ( Frenchie), Hartley ( Frenchi) and the leader of the pack is Myrtle my cat.

Megan Griffiths (Vet Nurse)

Hi, my name is Megan I have been a vet nurse for a year now and I have worked at Auburn Vet Hospital for just as long. I love animals of all shapes and sizes and I own a puppy dog of my own called Teemo. I have also been a fully qualified animal groomer for about three years now so I know how to make your pet look their best.

I have always had an interest becoming a vet nurse and working with animals, and I wouldn't dream of doing anything else. I enjoy all the things that come with being a vet nurse but the feeling I get when looking after animals in my care is unbeatable.

Hi, my name is Therese. I've been a veterinary nurse at Auburn Veterinary Hospital for the past two years. I love seeing all the different types of animals that walk in and find it satisfying to see them after our team works to make them well again.

I'm currently studying at the University of Sydney to become a vet, being in the 3rd year of the Bachelor of Veterinary Biology/Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Whilst I don't have any furry kids of my own, I look forward to going into rural mixed practice and hopefully having a hobby farm on the side!
